Day 1(Part 1)

🔹SUNDAY🔹 DAY 1🔹PART 1🔹 June 2026

One day here in El Salvador often feels like 3-4 days, but in the same breath..the time seems to fly by.

Our week started out at church on Sunday. As we worshipped in Spanish, I reminisced last year’s trip. Through tearful prayers and God ‘s Word we prayed for healing for the pastor. As Jamie sat there he admitted that he didn’t know God’s plan for either of them, and he didn’t know if they would find healing here on earth or in heaven. Pastor Jahaziel found his healing in heaven shortly after we left.

Sunday service started with worship. Huge shout out to team members Matthew, Skater, and Calleigh who sang beautiful praise songs🎶❤️❤️❤️. Then Amanda led the service while a few of us taught Sunday school. Huge shout out to team member Amanda

who spoke on Luke 15:11-24, the Prodigal Son/Daughter🙌🏽❤️, and then

Brendita de Mena expanded on the sermon. I wish I could have heard it! We had a wonderful time in Sunday school and a huge shout out to team member

Terran who helped prepare the laborious craft late Saturday night. He insisted that I let him do it because he knew I would stay up too late & do it myself. Pretty amazing for a young man to recognize and to insist on helping🥹❤️.

After Sunday’s service, Brenda, Jahaziel’s widow/pastor prayed over Jamie. It was emotional. Please pray for Brenda🙏🏽❤️. Please continue to pray for Jamie as well❤️🙏🏽.

……to be continued.
